JANUARY 23, 2025 (FLORIDA, USA) - The USMNT, under Mauricio Pochettino, wrapped up their first camp of 2025 - in their annual January camp featuring predominantly the domestic league stars from Major League Soccer, as they recorded wins against Venezuela and Costa Rica in Florida.

The US Men's National Team saw eight players make their first senior cap for the USA, all in their 3-1 win over Venezuela on Saturday: Patrick Agyemang (Charlotte FC), Max Arfsten (Columbus Crew), George Campbell (CF Montréal), Caden Clark (CF Montréal), Emeka Eneli (Real Salt Lake), Brian Gutiérrez (Chicago Fire), Matko Miljevic (Huracán, ARG), and Indiana Vassilev (St. Louis CITY).

Patrick Agyemang and Matko Miljevic both scored their first USMNT goals in their first appearances, with Caden Clark and Jack McGlynn scored their first USMNT goals as well.

Player Highlights:

Patrick Agyemang: Scored 2 goals in 2 matches for USMNT in 80 total minutes. Agyemang made the most of his first USMNT cap - the former 12th overall pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft continues to impress after his breakout 2024 season for Charlotte FC.

Diego Luna: Diego Luna broke his nose early in the match against Costa Rica. He stayed in the match, assisting Brian White for the first goal of the match on his very next touch of the ball. Mauricio Pochettino described that 2024 MLS Young Player of the Year had "big balls" and showed "great character" in his performance.
