Team USA tied it up against Brazil.

"A Golazo by Christian Pulisic allowed the Stars and Stripes to rescue a tie Wednesday night in Orlando in the last test before heading to Copa America next week,"

Brazil and the United States tied 1-1 yesterday in Orlando, Florida, in a last and exciting test before the Copa América that starts next week in the North American country.

The Brazilian Rodrygo opened the scoring in the 17th minute and minutes later. Christian Pulisic equalized with a free kick in the 26th minute in front of 60,000 fans who practically filled the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.

Vinicius Jr. played the entire match, and Endrick enjoyed good opportunities in the final stretch to define a match whose figures were the goalkeepers Allison and Matt Turner for their impressive labor to disallow the chance to give a lead to either team.

The draw is a relief for the United States, which broke an 11-game losing streak against Brazil, after the embarrassing 5-1 defeat it received on Saturday against Colombia. Days before the game, our reporter Alonso Contreras, who was on site, asked USA Head Coach Gregg Berhalter about the pressure when CONCACAF teams play COMMEBOL.

"For us, it is not pressure; it is an opportunity. These opportunities do not come every day." Berhalter said.

Again. Team USA understood the assignment; they went out and enjoyed the game without pressure.

For the fifth-time World Champions, Brazil, this performance generated doubts and questions regarding how far they will go in this Copa America. Brazil has to demonstrate their potential in their opening match against Costa Rica. The last time Brazil won Copa America was in 2019.

Brazil's Head Coach, Dorival Júnior, relieved the ten field players following Saturday's agonizing 3-2 victory in another friendly against Mexico, decided in Endrick's stoppage time.

Given the expectations surrounding the 17-year-old phenomenon, Dorival Júnior chose to leave him on the bench until the 65th minute. As soon as he came on as a replacement, the future Real Madrid forward created a great chance stopped by US Matt Turner.

The American goalkeeper made ten saves from the Brazilian offensive, although his mistake led to Rodrygo's goal. Still, Turner was able to keep the scoresheet in one goal.

Team USA will have ten days to rest and plan the game plan for Copa America for their Opening game against Bolivia in Dallas, TX.
