In a thrilling conclusion to the weekend's NWSL action, Orlando Pride secured a 3-2 victory over Seattle Reign, extending their impressive unbeaten streak. The match, held at Exploria Stadium, saw Orlando Pride (7-0-3) continue their dominant form, while Seattle Reign (2-7-1) showed signs of overcoming their recent scoring struggles.

The highlight of the match was undoubtedly the performance of Banda, whose dynamic play led to the enthusiastic “BANDA” chants resonating from the stands. Despite being shut out in their previous two matches, Seattle Reign equalized in the 48th minute, suggesting a possible turnaround. However, Banda proved unstoppable, netting her second goal of the match – and sixth of the season – in the 58th minute. This goal secured a lead for Orlando Pride that they maintained for the remainder of the game.

Orlando Pride will face the Portland Thorns at home next weekend, a highly anticipated match as both teams vie for the top spot. Orlando Pride has now clinched a league record-tying seven consecutive wins. A victory next weekend would set a new league record for consecutive wins, while a win for Portland, currently on a six-game winning streak, would see them match the record and halt Orlando's remarkable run.

The upcoming match promises to be a significant moment in the NWSL season, with high stakes and intense competition expected as these two top teams clash.
